Shipping Information

We ship with a Local Courier & Canada Post. All orders are shipped from our Chocolate Lab in Vaughan, ON. We only ship with Canada Post during the colder months (September to April).

All orders will be ready for pick up/delivery by 9:00am on the day you selected at check out. You will receive an email from Shopify indicating that your order is ready for pick up. Please check your junk mail as this email is coming from a Shopify email address. 

Succulent Chocolate is not liable for delay of shipment due to natural disasters, shipping carrier delays that are caused by weather, labor disputes, refusal of package, and incorrect shipping information. Please provide a street address as we do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Ensure all the necessary shipping and billing information is provided. We are not responsible for errors/misprints in the information provided to us. 

We offer three shipping options:

  1. Pick up: You can pick up your order from our Chocolate Lab located at 501 Rowntree Dairy Rd Unit 3 Vaughan, Ontario, during our business hours of 8:30am-4:30pm

  2. Local Courier: Will deliver your order between 9am & 6pm Monday-Friday. They can not guarantee the time the package is delivered. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package. If not, as per their new contact-less delivery protocols they will leave the package at the door.

  3. Canada Post: Canada Post indicates on their website that express post can take up to 3 days, however they also state there is no guarantee. If you are looking for your event favours on a specific day, we strongly suggest picking up your order or using a local courier to guarantee your delivery date. Please note we do not offer this options during the warmer months (May-Sept).

Weather & Summer Shipping

Our product requires special handling during warmer months as chocolate has the potential to melt at 20 degrees Celsius. We take the extra steps to guarantee your chocolates arrive in a manner that will ensure food safety and preserve the quality. We provide frozen "cold packs" inside the shipping box to protect the integrity of the products. An additional fee is reflected in the shipping cost for these extra materials. During these warmer months, we recommend picking up your order. We offer only local same day shipping during warmer months (May to August). Please ensure someone is home from 9am to 6pm to receive your package, so it is not left outside. It would be best to ship your order to a cool place like a business address to ensure someone is there receive the package.

Refund Policy

At Succulent Chocolates, all of our products are hand-crafted in small batches and we stand behind its quality. We take the extra precautions necessary to properly protect the products for shipping. Due to the delicate nature of our products, we are not responsible for damaged product, shipping delays or any other circumstances beyond our control which may occur during transit. We do not offer returns or refunds. All sales are final. Storage Information

Our products are kept best in a cool, dark environment away from a heating source (sun, heating vent etc.). They do not need to be refrigerated.
