We start with a 10 minute demo that outlines experience, judging criteria and some tips on how to work with chocolate lead by a professional Chocolatier

  • BRAINSTORM

Teams will have 10 minutes to brainstorm their sculpture concept. Participants will get "chef'd up" with our provided plastic aprons and chef hats

  • BUILD

Teams will be given only 30 minutes to build a structurally sound and creative chocolate sculpture. Little challenges are sprinkled in to keep things interesting

  • JUDGING

Teams must take the nerve- wracking walk with the sculpture to the judging table. The chocolate sculpture will be judged based on team work, cleanliness, creativity, and height

How are the teams divided?

We ask that you divide your group into teams before the beginning of our workshop so we can jump right into the chocolate experience.

What is required from me?

We make it easy for you! Here’s what we’ll need from your end:

  • A venue: This can be a meeting room, kitchen, or event space with tables for participants.
  • Tables: Each team requires a table to build their sculpture. We will also require 1- 6ft “demo table” and judging tables (quantity based on your group size). Please refer to our floor plan to see how the tables should be set up.
  • Access to power outlets: We require power for some of the equipment we bring for the workshop. We will be bringing our chocolate warmers and heat gun, which both require a standard plug/voltage. We will not be bringing any equipment with an open flame.

Garbage Pails: We require multiple garbage pails in the room to make it easy for participants to dispose of their garbage throughout the experience

Do you require a deposit to confirm my event?

Yes, we require a 50% Deposit to secure your event date. Final details including participant count and timing for your event will be confirmed 1 week before with final payment.

How are the sculptures judged?

At the end of the Chocolate Sculpture Challenge Workshop, your team’s creations will be judged based on these fun and engaging criteria:

1. Creativity: How imaginative and unique is your sculpture?

2. Structural Integrity: Does your sculpture hold up, or is it teetering on the edge of collapse? Sculpture must be a minimum of 1.5 FT tall.

3. Teamwork Displayed: How well did your group collaborate during the challenge?

4. Overall Presentation: Is your sculpture visually stunning, and does it tell a story or fit a theme?

      5. Cleanliness: Is yourself, your workspace and your Sculpture itself clean and presentable?

Our professional chocolatier or a designated panel will review each sculpture and crown the winning team. This winning team will receive a special chocolate prize!

Can we eat the sculptures?

We ask that you refrain from eating the chocolate sculptures. After the experience, the chocolate is no longer safe to consume. We will be bringing a plate of our award winning bonbons and confections for each table. I guarantee you they will taste much better than the sculpture!

What happens with the sculpture after the experience?

To keep this a sustainable chocolate experience we  break the sculptures down and we will recycle the chocolate into more chocolate sculpture pieces.

Can we apply a specific theme to the sculpture challenge?

We are happy to work with you on any customization you may require
